Welcome to Family Aid Direct,

We are a Family-to-Family based Charity to the Developing Areas of the World. Our objectives are in the areas of education, health and the relief of poverty, hardship and distress. Please see below for an introduction to our team.

Stepborlin and Mebilda with their children (below), run a registered charity in the city of Shillong, Meghalaya, North East India, called Sunbeam Sanstha (Society)

Juvanilia, Ridalyne and Bobbie

Suzanne, the second daughter to Stepborlin and Mebilda, now lives in Royton, England, with her husband Roy. They have been assisted in setting up this charity to finance the work of Sunbeam Sanstha, by their Church, Bethesda

All the help and assistance given to the poor by Sunbeam Sanstha is photographed and a ‘Project’ sheet is produced. Donors to the charity here in England, some of whom can be seen here, receive these sheets as the guarantee of how the money they are giving has been spent
