Arnapal School FAD under the supervision of Pastor Shadrak Kumar Das and his wife, Suravi, founded this school at the beginning of 2008. Here are the children that were there on that first day.  It had been beyond the hopes of this man that his grandchildren should ever haver a proper education.  The local community building was used and the school had the good backing of the parents and village leaders.  The children delight in their schooling and are happy to greet those who are making it possible.  As the school grew it moved into larger premises - this photo was taken in April 2006.  We have always had a good group of dedicated teachers.  And a couple of years ago we bought a new 'school bus' for those who lived a little farther away.
