Olmara school needs a twin school
This school is in the process of being set up – January 2009.

All is set for a good school year ahead.
Suzanne’s sister and family took over a failing private school in July 2003. It is now a thriving, self-financing school.
This school at Kyndong Wahlang was opened in January 2007 using the tin hut as its first classroom.
Now in January 2009 the school has grown and we have built a lovely new building.
We are hoping to twin this school with a school here in Royton.
Bhubaneshwar is the capital city of the state of Shillong. Our school was started in January 2008 and is serving the children who live in a slum area.

There is lots of potential to help the children and their families in this area. With the encouragement of the local head man we have now just moved into a more centrally situated community building.
This school in Bhalubasa was started in the summer of 2006

This school in Bhardak was started in January 2007

We have plans to construct a new school building in the near future.
This school in Kalidaspur was started in January 2007 and enjoys a good relationship with St Luke’s in Heywood.


The St Lukes children baked and sold cakes to raise the money to buy the school uniforms.
